English is a multi-country speaking language, and there are different styles in the world to speak English. But the fundamental pillars of English are the same. You can switch from one style to another by learning a few new or different things, but you don’t need to learn from scratch.
How to Learn English
I classify the whole process into phases to make it easier than a single paragraph, which is too difficult because I’m working on the divide-and-conquer rule. So let’s dive in
Phase 1: The Foundation
First, learn at least 500 words of English that are most repetitive in every sentence, Dialogue, story, and many more forms. Here I’m giving you a few words, and you can search more in the news, novels, and many other resources.

- The, A, An, then, that, so, and
- How, Why, What, Who, other interrogative words
- He, She, It, They, Thier, Them, We, shall, can, could, may
- Man, Woman, Boy, Girl, Son, Daughter
It also includes the names of different things that are used in daily life, and most of the names you already know, like
- Fruits, Vegetables
- Gadjuets
- Devices
- Places, like a playground, road, parks, etc
- Buildings, like an office, a home, a shcool etc
You can search for more names on the internet and AI chatBots like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude
Phase 2: Small Construction
After learning a few word try to construct common sentences like “How can I do that?”, “I’m looking for”, “I need something”, “I should choose”, these sentences help to speak faster in a common routine while you are in school, club, academy, chatting with your AI assistants, and many other situations
Phase 3: The Intermediate Plateau
Now you have already learned basic infrastructure, and it’s time to move advance
- Contextual Vocabulary: Stop learning random words. Learn “Collocations”—words that naturally live together (e.g., we say “fast food,” not “quick food”).
- The Output Shift: Start a daily journal. Write 5 sentences about your day. Don’t worry about perfection; worry about consistency.
- Thinking in English: Narrate your life in your head. “I am making coffee now. I need a spoon.” This bridges the gap between translating in your head and speaking naturally.
Phase 4: Mastery
Now, here is the final process to master your English in both learning and speaking
Reading

Reading is the most powerful way to make your English fluent in both reading and speaking because it actually helps you to understand the meanings, even if you just see the sentence and do not need to think about its meaning
There are too many sources of reading, but I would recommend something easier and more selective
- Novels (Novels help to improve your storytelling)
- Newspapers (Newspapers help to discuss social issues or events)
- Dialogues (Reading the dialogues will help you to increase the speed of speaking with your friends, teachers, or even clients
Speaking
Once you are confident in speaking some basic English, try to start speaking with friends in your daily routine, like in school, college, sports time, chatting with friends, and while shopping.
Don’t worry about perfection, because if you wait for perfection, you can never speak English. So, maintain the discipline and try again and again to grow yourself 1% per day only. If you try to learn everything in one day and want to become an expert in one attempt only, it leads to failure.
